Scott
spent his youth in Levittown New York and graduated from Island Trees High
School in 1976.
He moved with our family to Albuquerque New Mexico in 1977 where he produced two sons Nicholas
and Jason.
Scott
was a systems support analyst working for Sperry and Honeywell in Albuquerque when he
was diagnosed with skin cancer. He survived another 5 years before dying
peacefully surrounded by his family. His sister Dawn and his Mother became his
angels as they courageously and selfishly took care of him during this very
difficult time.
Scott
was a good and decent man who was known to have truly loved his children.
Although
divorced he raised his children as a single parent for a large part of their
lives. He was a very good Father and he was a very good friend to those lucky
enough to be close to him. Scott always seemed to have had an innocence to his personality. It
was a very endearing quality. I can still see him today playing "hide
and go seek" and "kick the can" in a day long ago where kids
still played outside with the neighbor kids and nobody seemed to have a need to worry much
about our safety. Scott was also an avid springboard diver and even was a pretty
good gymnast in high school. As an adult, along with being a good
Father, Scott
was a softball player and a person who had many friends. At
his funeral there were several hundred of them present paying their respects.
Scott
was survived by his mother Gleva I.
Comstock-Wilson, his Father Robert
Wilson, His sister Dawn Wilson-Griffin and two brothers Mitchell Wilson
and Glenn R. Wilson.
Scott
is missed terribly.
He
left us far too soon.
